This page explains, in plain language, how Universal Automotive Platform Pte. Ltd. ("uaPlatform", "we") handles data on this website, on the uaCloud platform, and in the uaCloud mobile app.

This website

uaplatform.com is a static site. It sets no cookies and collects no personal information. We measure visits with a self-hosted instance of GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool: it counts page views in aggregate, uses no cookies, and does not identify or track individual visitors.

The uaCloud platform

Vehicle and fleet data on uaCloud belongs to the customer organization that produces it. Every organization runs in strict isolation - its own workspace, its own data, its own web address - and data is never shared between customers. Access within an organization is controlled by that organization's own administrators.

The uaCloud mobile app

The uaCloud mobile app is a companion to the platform for drivers and fleet users. You sign in with a uaCloud account, and everything you see belongs to your own organization. The app collects only what a feature needs, and only when you use that feature:

• Account - your username and organization, used to sign you in and show your vehicles. Kept for as long as your account exists.
• Location (precise and approximate, foreground only) - used only when you save where you parked. The app never tracks your location in the background.
• Camera - used to scan a vehicle QR or VIN code. Frames are processed on your device for scanning and are not stored.
• Photos and videos - only the ones you attach to a service report, uploaded to your organization's service records.
• Notifications - a push token so we can send service reminders, recalls, and campaign messages. Delivered through the operating system's push service (Google) as technically required.

We use this data only to provide the app's features inside your organization's isolated workspace. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Every permission is optional and is requested only the first time you use the related feature - you can decline and keep using the rest of the app.

Deletion

Customer organizations can request complete deletion of their data at any time. Deletion removes the organization's stored data from our systems, in line with GDPR and similar data-protection regulations.
